Frederick J. Fisher, J.D. is currently the Executive Vice President of the Insurance Specialty Group, Professioanl Liability Practice Group and CEO ELM Insurance Brokers, Inc, specializing in insuring Professional Liability risks. For the past 35 years, Mr. Fisher has actively been involved in many activities including underwriting, adjustment, investigation, and resolution of Professional Liability Claims. In 1989 he became a founding member of PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society). In 1993 he was elected to the PLUS Board of Trustees and in 1997 was elected President. He has authored over 40 articles on Professional liability, given over 100 speeches to Trade Audiences and is an expert on Claims Made Insurance Policies, and Loss Control issues.
